2008 Chickahominy River

The team of Jeff Hayden and Benny Cannon of Lakeland Bassmasters weighed in an 8 fish limit for 21.58 pounds enroute to their first place fish on the Chickahominy River. Their impressive bag of fish was anchored by Cannon's 6.04 pound largemouth.

Rob Wilkinson and Doug Larson of Backwoods Bassmasters finished the day in second place with 8 fish weighing 21.08 pounds.

Third place honors were taken by Brian Stump and Red Bruun of Confederate Bassmasters with an 8 fish limit totaling 17 pounds even.


Lunker honors were won by Mike McCluskey of Confederate Bassmasters with a beautiful 6.84 pound largemouth.

Top club honors went to Virginia Bassmasters with a total weight of 47.94 pounds for their top three boats. Lakeland Bassmasters finished a close second for top club honors and clinched top club for the year with 208.54 pounds.
