Minutes of the April 16,, 2008 President’s meeting 7:00 PM
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. with chapters represented as follows

& Treasurer’s Report
The minutes of the previous meeting were
approved as read and previously distributed.
The Treasurer reported
a balance of $5,420.66 in the Region Treasury,
and provided details of transactions since the last meeting which
were approved as written and distributed.
Federation
Business
The Mr. B.A.S.S. Tournament out of Munden Point on April 19th and 20th is in need of volunteers. Chip Jens
volunteered as Rescue Boat Saturday, Vince Stuccio
and Randy Trout parking and Boat Checks Saturday, Randy
Trout weigh in Saturday. Vince
Stuccio and Bill Allen parking and Boat Checks
Sunday. Susan Owens Rescue
Boat Sunday.
Region
Seven Business
The budget was given
out, sorry it was late. After reviewing the budget, it looks like e will be
short $350.00,
however, Brian Stump said not to worry about it.
Let’s not put the pressure on Brian to come up with the additional
$350.00. We will send 20 people from BASS to the Fall
Classic. We are currently looking at ways to increase our
budget with sponsorships.
Craig donated a 24’
Bass Tracker Pontoon Boat and Trailer to Region 7 to be used as a Fish release
boat. Bruce
Pomeroy donated a
motor for the boat. Brian Stump donated is making the live well release system
for the pontoon
boat. Brian is trying to have the fish release
system made and installed for use during the Potomac River Region 7
tournament. Thanks to all of you for your donations.

Region 7 Lake Kerr Tournament information. SPORTMANSHIP,
We are about (SPORTMANSHIP).
At last Region 7
Tournament our Tournament Director Rick Wisswell, was
cursed at for not following the blast off times.
This (UNSPORTSMAN CONDUCT) WILL NOT BE
TOLERATED, IF YOU CURSE A REGION OFFICER YOU
CAN AND WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. THE TOURNAMENT
DIRECTOR HAS THE BACKING OF BOTH
REGION 7 PRESIDENTS. If you have a problem, please bring it to the
attention of your Region 7 President to work
out the problem. Lakeland BASS will volunteer 2 boats and
Little Creek Bass Anglers will volunteer 1 boat to help with the
BASS.
Susan is collecting
new hats or gently used hats for the Youth Fishing days. She could also use any
fishing tackle you do
not need. (NO HOOKS). She will have about 400
goody bags to make up. Susan would like to give T-Shirts to the youth
who attend. If anyone would like to help with
the cost, or who can get a shirt sponsor, please let Susan know.
The meeting
adjourned at 7:40 p.m. The next meeting
