The Region 7 Release Boat
worked very well at the Region 7 Chickohominy River
Tournament. We lost very few fish.
John Daman of FM 99 presented
Region 7 with a way to raise funds for our Region. Seaport Marine will sell us
a boat for $6,000.00. We will then sell raffle tickets to raise money for
Region 7 and Fm 99. The funds raised would be split 50/50 between Region 7 and
FM 99. Craig Owens, Ivan Morris, and Brian Stump said they would pitch in and
purchase the boat, then, be reimbursed for the boat purchase after all tickets
were sold, we would only sell 4900 tickets. Brian Stump,
said he thought he could sell the 1200 tickets needed to purchase the boat. The
tickets will be sold for $5.00 each.
Everyone thought this was a great idea. We would like to give the boat
away to the winner at the FM 99 Striper Tournament. This is a great way to
raise funds for our Region
Jim Geiser
is back and ready to take control of the BFN side. Jim thanked Ivan for filling
in while Jim was away. Lets thank Ivan for a great job and Jim for be back with
us.
